Worship is an every-day necessity for a deep, fulfilling spiritual life. Besides the Eucharist, St. James offers a variety of ministries to help parishioners develop their spiritual lives outside of Mass.

Spiritual Ministries

Adoration is offered all day, every day to anyone desiring a quiet, peaceful atmosphere in which to worship Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. The Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Cenacle of Prayer holds prayer services on the first Friday of every month. There is an invocation to the Holy Spirit, recitation of the Rosary, prayers offered for the Holy Father, and reading and meditation on messages given in the book To the Priests: Our Lady's Beloved Sons.
Ministry to the Sick provides comfort to homebound parishioners and the sick in nursing homes and local hospitals. Ministers take Communion to those in need and inform the priests of the need for the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.
Prayer Chain calls individuals to share the spiritual gift of prayer for those in need.
Seguin A.C.T.S. is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. A.C.T.S. provides a wonderful retreat experience for anyone wishing to spend a weekend in the Lord's presence. Retreats are offered annually for men, women, and teens.
Small Church Communities are designed for participants who wish to continue their spiritual journey after participating in the A.C.T.S. retreats. Each group focuses on Bible study, prayer, support, and fellowship.
Spiritual Direction is offered to every parishioner at St. James wishing to grow in their spiritual life through one-on-one sessions with a spiritual director. The individual is guided to answer the question, "Where is God in my life?"

“I have the strength for everything through Him who empowers me.”  Philippians 4:13
